Change of heart.

If you have not read Robert's blog you should. Robert and I felt the call to home school Ashlin. We took her out of public school last Tuesday. Last week went well, today UPS will bring her books. I love to teach and train our children. Ashlin and Claire love for me to teach them. We are very excited! I pray that Robert and I will teach, train and disciple our children to love their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. That they may honor Him with their lives and desire His will over their own.

O Claire

Yesterday was Claire's first day of Mother's Day out. She will be attending on Tuesday and Thursdays. I picked her up yesterday and asked if she had fun, she said yes. I also asked her what did she learn about. At first she said nothing, then it was like a light went off in her head. She stopped and said I learned about Adam and Eve and they got naked! I laughed. I tried to remind her of the rest of the story. O, this year going to be fun!!

school days

Robert and Ashlin started back to school the same day. Ashlin did great!! No crying all week until Thursday night. She was worn out and sad that mom and dad were not at school with her. She said she never gets to see us. So Friday I went up to eat lunch with her and I brought McDonald's. She was cool with going back on Friday because she knew mommy was coming for lunch.



Robert on the other hand cried like a baby on Monday. I would to if I had to take Hebrew. I feel sorry for the man. Ok, he really didn't cry. But, he will want to by the end of the semester. I believe that after this semester he will be a little more than half way done. I feel like we have been saying for years now that he only has two years left.

Life

We took Ashlin to "meet the teacher" night. She loved her room and her teacher. Her teacher is Shelly McDaniel. We dropped off the school supplies, found her cubbie and her desk. She is sitting by all BOYS!! Oh, she'll have them put in their place by lunch time. Robert has been teaching her some moves, just in case any boy tries to make a move on her. She's ready!!

Tomorrow we are taking 35 students to Six Flags. Levi is staying with a baby sitter. Ashlin and Claire will be attending with us. There is a concert that night, so we will be home rather late. Naps for everyone on Sunday!!

I baked and decorated another cake today. I don't like it has much.

Birthday and Baby Blues

Thursday was the big Birthday Day! I am now 31 and feeling good. On the other hand Levi is still not feeling good. He has a double ear infection and the first antibiotic did nothing. After 4 doses he still had a 104.5 temp. So, I called the doctor back and she sent out a stronger antibiotic. I am really hoping this works. I feel so sorry for him.

Robert's parents came up this weekend. We had a great time. We really enjoy it when they come to our house. They had to leave early due to the big hurricane coming. Robert's dad was called back to work.

The whole family went up to the school to register her for kindergarten today. I didn't know that it would take that long. We had to fill out a lot of paper work and sign our names a bunch of times. After we were through we went an ate at Taco Bueno for lunch. I like this place, I had $20.00 on me and our total was $19.32. After we all had our tummies full we headed to Sam's. Our girls love this place because you get free snacks, however Sam's let them down today. No snacks. When we left Claire said "I didn't get to eat". Claire is all about the food. We are home now and resting.

Levi

Well, that past few days have been crazy! Levi had a stomach virus last week and is now in that after stomach virus stage. You know the really bad diapers. The thing about an 8 month having the stomach bug is that he can't tell me when it's coming. So, I had a very nice portion of throw-up all over me a total of 4 times. Now that Levi is at the bad diaper stage. I have had to clean my floors more than once. The "stuff" will not say in the diaper. He also has a cold. This has not been his week.

Tomorrow morning we will sign Ashlin up for Kindergarten!! She is very excited. Yesterday we made her the count down rings. She can take one off everyday until school starts. This week we will go and purchase the supplies, new shoes and clothes. Only 15 days left!! We are excited for her.
