Spider Bite!!

Kind of a gross story.....

Yesterday I woke up and thought my leg hurts so I take a look and there is a red circle with two little holes in the middle. Robert and I concluded that it was a spider bite. So today I get up and it is really red and the circle is much larger, plus it is now very hot and swollen. What do you do? I really did not want to go to the doctor, but after talking to some folks and letting one of our good friends look at it (who is a paramedic) I ended up at the doctor today at 3:00. She said it was a spider bite and that it had turned it to a Staph Infection. So, antibiotics for 10 days and antibiotic cream for 10 days as well. My doctor was all ready to give me a shot and do the strongest meds she could until I told her I was 13 weeks pregnant. Robert thinks that I am spider women now. He told Kaity today on the phone that I was shooting spider webs.

Levi is 1!!

Today the girls, myself and Levi went to the mall and had Levi's pictures taken. He is the cutest kid I know. He did a great job taking his pics.

Just a few things about Levi: You can never talk on the phone without him crying for the phone. We have given him the toy phones, he just throws them down. He loves to play in the potty. He really enjoys getting into Robert's bathroom stuff. He likes to play ball. The boy could live outside. He will cry at the door to go out. He has a black lab puppy that he sleeps with and loves. Everything is "that". He just points and yells "that". He loves to wrestle with his daddy. He really likes his two naps a day, well okay mommy does too. Levi is very sweet and loves to give open mouth kisses to anyone. We are loving him and he is fun to watch grow.
Happy Birthday Levi!!

My new ride!!

Robert calls it the man van. For those of you that do not know that Robert and I will be expecting our fourth child in June. We could not fit another person in the explorer, so we went and bought a Honda Odyssey. I LOVE IT. I love Robert even more for getting it for me!! He's the man!!

Claire's the big 3!

Yesterday Claire turned 3 years old. This girl is so funny. She woke up yesterday morning and I reminded her that it was her Birthday day, she looked at me and pointed to her toes then to her head and said "look, I'm all tall know". Poor Claire she just started wearing 2T clothes. She has the vocab of a 5 year old. Even when she disobeys she is still cute. You can read Robert's blog for more funny stuff about Claire. Robert took her on her Birthday date today for lunch.

Grocery Bill

I am really getting mad about the cost of groceries. I went to the store on Monday just to get a few things. I left with $57.60 worth of nothing. Milk is now $4.00 a gallon when two years ago it was $1.98 a gallon. I told Robert that we needed to stop eating. We would be rich if we just cut out food. But, then again, we would die.

What are your thoughts about this?

Change of heart.

If you have not read Robert's blog you should. Robert and I felt the call to home school Ashlin. We took her out of public school last Tuesday. Last week went well, today UPS will bring her books. I love to teach and train our children. Ashlin and Claire love for me to teach them. We are very excited! I pray that Robert and I will teach, train and disciple our children to love their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. That they may honor Him with their lives and desire His will over their own.

Thank you Father.

O Claire

Yesterday was Claire's first day of Mother's Day out. She will be attending on Tuesday and Thursdays. I picked her up yesterday and asked if she had fun, she said yes. I also asked her what did she learn about. At first she said nothing, then it was like a light went off in her head. She stopped and said I learned about Adam and Eve and they got naked! I laughed. I tried to remind her of the rest of the story. O, this year going to be fun!!
